Something Brand New

November 12, 2015
Fall tends to be a time of reflection, a time of thanks. It’s no different here at the clinic. 2015 marks our 30th anniversary and we have spent a lot of time reflecting on the past 30 years, feeling ever so thankful for our clients and their pets. We have been so incredibly honored to be a part of your lives, to be trusted with the care of your beloved companions.
As we reflect on the past, we have a renewed spirit and passion in looking to the future. This 30th anniversary has become a transition year of sorts as well. Earlier this year, Dr. Brownlee and Dr. Stadtherr finalized plans for their business partnership, becoming co-owners of Grand Avenue Veterinary Center. After working together for almost 20 years, this was an easy, natural transition in the clinic, the place that both of them consider a second home, and a second family.
We have also spent the last 3 months working diligently on creating a new logo, a new “brand” that will help us move into the next 30 years of service. We loved our original logo, but felt this was a good time for a fresh start. We worked with a wonderful group, 5ive to create our brand new one-of-a-kind logo. It has been a very interesting and fun process. This week we are also launching our brand new website, one that will help us stay current and connected to our clients and their pets. We hope you will enjoy it! Also helping us stay current is ever-evolving social media. In addition to Facebook and Twitter, we recently joined Instagram (@grandavevet) and Pinterest (https://www.pinterest.com/grandavenuevet/). We would love for you to follow us!
The truth is, none of this would be possible without the loyalty, trust and support of our clients and friends in business. To celebrate, we are having a week long celebratory open house, November 16-21. We will be serving delicious treats (for people and pets), giving out fun dog and cat tags, giving away 2 baskets (containing fun pet toys and complementary services at our clinic), taking photos and asking visitors to sign our guestbook. We hope you’ll take a moment to stop in and see us, with or without your pet.
Thank you again. We are very grateful for all of you.
